I provide careigiving help occasionally for my disabled uncle. My family recently installed cameras throughout the house to monitor aides. I’m not comfortable watching him with the cameras on me, but I also feel uncomfortable asking them to turn the cameras off. What do I do?

Don’t worry about the cameras. They are only a problem if you are doing something wrong. I work at a house that has cameras and I forget all the time when ever someone comes in to train to tell them about them. So just take care of your uncle, enjoy his company and don’t worry. ?

I’m uncomfortable with cameras, too. It’s weird to think about someone somewhere else watching all the time. The thing is, people are watching all the time because the world is full of surveillance cameras. After a while you forget about them.
